I’ve never really been into this kind of oval shape on watch’s but something about this one is so cool to me. Maybe it’s how thin it is. 12.6mm thick with a boxed sapphire so that’s probably more like 11ish mm.
The case is 38.5mm in diameter. Great size if you ask me even with my 7.5in wrist. I love the monochromatic look of this all steel version with the pop of that all red gmt hand. Really hope to see these in more colors as time goes on.
I’m taking a trip to Japan in a couple months and I think I’m going to add this to my list of things to bring back with me 😅

If only they could move the date to 6 o'clock to help my OCD.
I like the blue one, but not enough to pay full price. It does look pleasing. Maybe if I handle one, I’d appreciate it more. Perhaps the dial needs more color. Or perhaps the total ensemble just doesn’t work at that price point.

This is the watch the reissue is based on, circa ‘68 though it is the silver dial variant. I found this one on EBay. Has very few miles on it as noted during its service. I’ll take a few more pics later.
