I love moonphase watches also, but I'm afraid it will be a pain to set it, since I wear one watch max 2 days in a row. Glashütte Original panomatic lunar is top of my list.
The Orien sun and moon isn't a moonphase as people have mentioned, but it gives same look for a fraction of the price and I love the looks. I've handled this one and it was great for the price. Would buy one, but too big for my taste.
I know the term. I can't remember last time a watch reviewer said something really critical about a watch I liked. So I rarely end in a situation where someone I respect really prings out negative aspects of a watch I like.
Closest I came was when tt explorer came out. I liked it a lot, but most people didn't and couple reviwers I still follow shot the watch down, but these weren't considered reviews, but more of an hot takes. I got the point they made, but disagreed.
You are very right in that a person you disslike is not going to be able to change you're mind. But I also believe it's almoust impossible to change someones opinnion in an argument all together. People are often so emotionally attached to their oppinnions that it's almoust impossible.
This is interesting topic. Other peoples opinnions do affect mine, but newer to the point, that it would change my opinnion of a watch entirely. So no. Then again I usually watch / read reviews of watches I like and rarely any reviwer will be overly negative.
Looking reviews of watches you allready own is a great way to reignate love for a watch and I do that time to time.
I had the similar problem while ago, was contenplating flipping these two for similar Zenith
Ended up keeping these two. Upon researching the Tudor I found out it was bit more special I thought.
But for those two, for me the Zenith. Difficult conparison becouse the prices are so different.
