Such a neat watch. I don’t think I’ll pull the trigger on these but they are very tempting!
It’s crazy how much the SNK809 went up in price! They were going for around $60-$70 when I got mine, and now they’re going for $140-$200 (which doesn’t seem worth it)!

According to Marc from Long Island Watch, the 5s and the SKXes were so cheap because Seiko had a major grey market problem. In an interview clip with Chronometer Check, he used an example of a previous gen Seiko 5 and said that the tag for it was $187..
I think the current prices are fine but $150 is the highest for me. The most I paid was ~$200 but it was for one that is VERY popular and I wasn’t sure I’d see at a good price again

Hmm, that’s actually pretty interesting, I never knew that🤔 Seiko 5’s were so cheap for the longest time! When I bought my Arabic-Indic Seiko 5 for around $120 I thought it was pushing it, but looking back, it was actually a pretty good deal, and the dial totally made it worth it!😄

I paid a lot more for mine. And my wallet sheds a tear every time I see one up for sale under $150. Uugghh

Uncle makes very nice bracelets. Can’t go wrong and the price is good also.
I really wish they (or someone) would make a 39mm SNK. It would be a huge seller.

I agree. I don’t really mind the size since I have a diverse collection, but 37mm is pretty small for most people.
