I just noticed that the dates on a lot of my watches are quite off. I really should change them. I guess I don’t regularly use the date function that often. Plus, it’s always on my computer screen or phone screen. Anyone else forget to correct the date on their watches?
Only on my Vostok because it doesn’t have a quickset date and the power reserve is atrocious at best.

If the date on my Vostok is more than a couple weeks off, I just leave it alone until the calendar catches back up with the watch. I really miss a quick-set date function on that watch. Otherwise, if I can remember, I wind it every night, even if I'm not planning to wear it, just so it's ready for later.
If the watch has a quick-set date, I keep it accurate. Drives me crazy if the date is wrong.

I do the same. Mine is sitting on the 8th so I’m just gonna leave it till then to wear it haha.
Half the fun is trying to remember how each watch changes day and date. I can never remember how to do this one, and it's in Russian.
I usually notice just after I've posted my WRUW pic for the day, and by then it's too late. I can't even see the date on 90% of my watches anyway.

I used to do the same thing on a couple of my watches cuz for some reason there was no quick way to do it other than turning the hands
All of my watches have a quick date function of one sort or another, so I always set the date when setting the watch. I actually enjoy setting the more complicated watches with a calendar or moonphase and date; it just enhances the morning ritual, IMHO.

Lolz I have a Frankenwatch where I almost broke the crown cuz I had no idea how to set it. Kept on tugging at it to no avail. Found out you have to push it like a button 🤷♂️

Yeah the WRUW posts are where I see it 😳
I'm a prisoner of my OCD so I will set the dates until my fingers bleed.
