Is it the price the execution or both you did dislike?

to tell you the truth, I wouldn't pay five bucks for the Hamilton "Dune" ... it looks like a movie prop ... which is fine on the Big Screen, but not close-up. Several years ago I visited a Star Trek museum in Vulcan, Alberta, Canada (yes, a real place!) and they had many actual Star Trek TV & movie props on display there and I was shocked to see just how cheap and obviously fake these things looked up close! It's "Movie Magic" that makes 'em look real on the Big Screen ...

I think the actual prop in the movie doesn't look to great, but this watch on hand looks and feels solid. There's so many things Hamilton did to make this feel very solid and special
Being someone that nerds out over some of the memorabilia at Side Show Collectibles, I can see this fitting well with that crowd ๐๐บ
I like the watches, but think they should have been around ยฃ1000.
Yeah, I like them too. We will have to see how much demand there is for them. If they don't sell out, I think there will be some good deals to be had in the next year or two ๐ค๐ผ

Unfortunately I already have a Ventura in mind๐
I like the look of the watch and would pay 300 for it, on a whim when sufficiently motivated
For multi-thousands of dollars Hamilton has to be out of their minds
I know what you mean!
But after handling the watch at $300 it would have been a totally different watch, but yes i wish it was $300 as well i would purchase two vs zero which is what i can afford right now ๐
I like this digital version best. I will be looking for this on the secondary market in the future. Initial cost is a bit high for me and I doubt they will be discounted.

When I read these words
"Give me your opinion ๐ "
I do.
I'll delete my opinion for you.
