Skeleton watches, recommendations?

Like many of us I like to see the mechanical marvel ticking away through a display back, & would love to see this dial side too...
Unfortunately after trawling the usual places I've found skeleton watches come in basically two flavours - cheap Chinese crap that'll last all day if you are lucky, or prohibitively pricey exotica.
Also legibility is very much an issue on nearly all skeletons, & I value "at a glance" time telling highly.
So my predicament - find a decent quality legible skeleton watch within my sub £1000 budget.
Not fussed about brand (as long as not the aforementioned Chinese junk), microbrands acceptable, as are old watches as long as practical ( preferably automatic and sapphire, basic 3 handers)
So Cruncher's, what ya got? 🤔

Not a full skeleton but check out Davosa Swiss. They make some great pieces and many will fit in that 1k budget you’re looking for

Check out this model of vintage Citizen. I saw one in the flesh close to a year ago, it was a dead donor sitting in my watchmaker's box, but it's so far the only skeleton watch I'd consider owning.

yes, it's the CIGA Z Titanium. Nice watch to look at but completely hapless as a watch because CIGA specialize in making completely illegible watches.
Until I saw this one, I was not big fan of skeleton watches. But this is great. Love that dial.
