Christmas gift from the wife.
My wife surprised me with this Vario 1918 trench watch for Christmas. This is a brand and model I have been eyeing for some time. She did good.

I find it comfortable so far. I think it may help I wear watches on my right wrist and I do not use crowns while a watch is on my wrist so the placement does not effect setting for me.
I’m wearing the 1945 today. The crown at 4 is not an issue. Very comfortable watch to wear.

wonderful gift! and i like that the company is a husband+wife combo and not some zoomer scammer from East Europe or whatever. too many of those fake companies around!
