Three watch collection & my quartz digital crisis

Hi there WC community! This is my first post and wanted to show you my small three watch collection and share a bit of a dilemma with you all.

When it comes to watches it all started 4 years ago with an Orient Esteem II (FAG02005W0) I bought after realising that mechanical watches weren't only for the rich, as I thought it was back then (0_o)

Then came my journey down the rabbit hole. While falling down this never ending abyss of wonders, I set a couple or personal rules to remain fairly sane while exploring this new-to-me world:

Budget and pay them in cash. Head in sky and feet on the ground. So many beautiful watches, yet if I'm purchasing one, it has to be within my means and after doing a lot of research!

I also wanted to experience as many of the concepts I was learning materialised in the watches in my small collection as I could. So the more boxes I could tick, the better!

Finally, I had to face the (sad?) reality of having small wrists (6.5) and knowing that despite loving certain watches I had to play within the physical boundaries of my wrist so they don't look awful (that Orient Esteem II looked good when I knew nothing about watches, now I look some pictures I took with it 4 years ago and it looks hideous !)

I'll put an extra one here you'll hate me for... I hate sunburst dials! , so that's another one to put into the soup.

So under the above rationale, I give you the current line up:

1. MIDO Baroncelli Heritage III

Boxes ticked -> Dressy (yet daily) and thin, polished case, exhibition case back with some decoration, swiss ETA movement, part of the Swatch Group umbrella, blued seconds hand and screws, within wrist boundaries (39mm, good LTL), AR coated saphire crystal. White Eggshell textured Non-sunburst dial.

2. CW Trident Pro 600

Boxes ticked -> Diver, ceramic bezel, brushed/polished case, good green lume (this watch is a torch!), Nice bezel action, screw down crown, metal bracelet with on-the-go micro adjust, micro brand (yeh maybe not that micro anymore) outside the Swatch group with a non ETA movement (Sellita), obscene water resistance (600 mts), within wrist boundaries (38mm, good LTL). Blue laquered Non-sunburst dial.

3. SEIKO Speedtimer SSC813P

Boxes ticked -> Sporty Chronograph without the mechanical chronograph cost/service costs, brushed and polished case, Japanese solar quartz movement, AR domed saphire crystal, blue lume (yes not as much lume as I'd like, but blue!), within wrist boundaries (39mm, good LTL). Textured white Non-sunburst dial with black/'solar cell purple' subregisters.

Now the dilemma :P I want to add a Casio digital display watch to have a two Swiss made/two Japanese 4 watch collection... But I just can't find something that makes me pull the trigger. I had the Casio a1000 (black mother or pearl) but I just didn't click with it despite its perfect size and fit. Also I want to add some Japanese kickass tech (Radio controlled, solar, that mint green illuminator light from yesteryear, bluetooth, etc)... In the meantime I ordered a gun metal f91w that should arrive soon, because c'mon it's a rad watch that will keep my Casio thirst under control.

Well folks, thanks heaps for reading my crazy rules and watch journey. If you have any Casio digital suggestions I'm all ears.

Take care everyone!

Nice collection ! VERY happy to see the Mido is in it. I own the rose gold version myself. I find it to be a watch with lots of details in its finishing. It's an extremely nice piece, underrated alas. The other watches make for good contrast...

Try the Casioak. It’s a mix of old/new school, stylish for those in the know, and comes in lots of colors and materials (all plastics to full metal, and Bluetooth and solar capabilities on the higher end models).

Honestly awesome collection. It's very refined. This doesn't check all the boxes but it seems like you want a Casio that's isn't exactly generic (you previously tried mother of pearl and now the gun metal F91W. How about getting something that would stand out but still at home in your current collection. I'm thinking a transparent G Shock!

It is bittersweet that I can't recommend an F-91W because the OP already chose wisely.

It's a beautiful watch indeed, good choice with the RG version!

Thanks, I tried a casioak and I found it a bit big. I checked there's a 'reduced' version for women. From the whole line up There's one navy blue that caught my attention ! I might go to the shops and trying on !

The F91w fits me so well that it truly makes justifying another Casio a hard job !
