I'm a former professionnal freelance cellist, working mainly in Belgium. After the corona pandemic, I switched to become a skilled diamond polisher... I have a passion for watches that started in my childhood when I got my first mechanical watch from my grandparents. However, I lived with just one humble Seiko Solar for about 20 years without ever changing. That however, has changed considerably. I'm always on the lookout for new inspiring pieces since the bug really bit me 5 years ago...

Nice collection ! VERY happy to see the Mido is in it. I own the rose gold version myself. I find it to be a watch with lots of details in its finishing. It's an extremely nice piece, underrated alas. The other watches make for good contrast...
A date function is no priority for me when choosing a watch. Only in a few rare cases have I felt that it disturbed the symmetry, mostly due to too much contrast in the background colors... Most of the times I see it as a convenient extra. Only the date at four o'clock is a real issue.
