Blown away by a Turtle 🐢
Picked up the SRPE93K1 a couple of weeks ago and cannot get this thing off my wrist! I’m blown away by how much watch is packed into this low price point.
The case size belies how well it sits on my slender wrist and the balance of the dial and simplicity of a two tone colourway is just stunning.
Yes I’d prefer not to have the date window, but even that is well proportioned and without the cyclops found on the King Turtle, the dial looks clean and highly visible to my failing eyesight.
I now have a fair few watches in the collection, all of which cost me more than this piece. But somehow this has won me over and I’m enjoying it very much. A lovely reminder that joy can be found in the expression of a design well executed and that this can come at any price point!
