What are your thoughts on Frederique constant?
I just picked up this amazing Frederique Contant Highlife and I am in love. it is pricey but worth it. I believe that Frederique Constant is under rated because their pieces and exquisite. What do you all think and if you have one what do you have?

Will start with the name appears to be a computer-generated watch brand with no history what-so-ever and made to sound an awful lot like another brand with Contant in the name. That world timer is a thing of beauty and always on my watchlists waiting for the right deal. Overall, I have to give them props for their recent lineup, which offers a hell of a lot of watch for the money, especially with reputable grey dealers, so I say rock the FC.

Many people right them off and are overlooked the majority of times. They not my favourite brand but they do make some beautiful watches and are good quality. At the end of the day, buy what you like, not what others say you must like. Theres no hype with the brand but that doesn' mean they are bad. Some are a bit expensive but show me a watch brand that doesn't have an overpriced watch in their catalog.
I am interested in their new Slimline Monolithic with the new revolutionary movement beating at 40hz 288,000 vph! If I could afford the price. 😂

The highlife perpetual calender under €10k is great value imo.
They started off as an homage brand, making essentially copies of higher priced, higher specced watches with off the shelf movements. They’ve since seemed to pick up some originality and now use movements other than the run of the mill ETAs, and have even started to innovate. I’m curious to see where they go in the future.

Yup! This would give the GS Spring Drive a run for its money with the same sweeping seconds hand that is a full mechanical movement. Unlike the GS which is a quartz/mechanical hybrid. 😉 Imagine the seconds hand ticking at 80 ticks per second! 😲
I think the manufacture line is an incredible value for what you get. I own 2 FC's a manufacture flyback chrono and a moon phase. They are very well built and finished to a high degree.
