After many years of just wearing watches, I recently started more serious in collecting and reading about time keeping.
At the same time I started modding Seiko's and building with AliExpress parts dive and dress watches.
Now I work on movements and followed some watchrepair courses. Especially handwind vintage watches from 1960 and 1970.
Oh, and if I have time over, I spend it with my wilde and 2 kids😋
And after 2 years, I'm into servicing vintage watches. Buying cheap broken watches, repairing them, learning about the history of the model and brand and finally selling them with a small profit.
I made a list of grail watches and buy them with the money I urned with the repairs. It takes me several months before I can buy these and that gives me time to think it over several times before pulling the trigger...
1 time: Saw the Seiko Monster Pinguin from The Bold Hairspring and bought the watch from the store in Barcelona. It appeared the same watch as reviewed.
1/2 time: I was watching a review from the Yema Superman quartz and went directly to their website. There was a sale (happens often at Yema) at the time and I was scrolling through their offers. Instead of goiing for the Superman, I purchased the Rallygraph Blue Tarmac. A beautiful mecaquartz..🤣
