Another favorite movie watch
Ever since the movie Interstellar came out, I wanted the pilot watch in my collection. Wasn’t sure if I wanted the exact same one but the movie did an amazing of brand placement. I had already bought #hamilton khaki king so wasn’t sure if I would buy another one from same brand.
Kept seeing this watch on a lot of WC posts and then saw it in person last year at one of the meetups. Wanted it but not that much to pay retail but also wanted new.
Yesterday, at Ventura meetup the venue host “One More Time” who had recently acquired Hamilton AD status had one and offered me a deal I couldn’t refused.
This watch checks few boxes like pilot watch, day-date function, black dial, supporting local dealer and fulfilling the watch collecting hobby.. I am grateful to everything and everyone who has been a part of my life and made me capable to be in such a position. Cheers!
I have recently started collecting watches, like 5 years ago. Love them for the art and engineering. And my wife doesn’t know how many watches I have.

I love this reference. I also like the air Zermatt edition but it looks like the indices are painted on instead of applied like this model and is too sporty. Your version would go better with almost any situation. (And be a strap beast) congrats!
I have this watch and I love it! So much watch for the money. Still one of my favorite bracelets too.
As I mentioned yesterday, I'd throw that on a heavy duty shark mesh so fast!
