$300 3 Watch Challenge

Some of y'all have probably seen this video but it does offer an interesting exercise: Can you come up with a better $300 3 watch selection than what ChatGPT 4/Bing ChatGMT came up with?

For my case, it'll involve a bit of cheating since @benswatchclub already brought up two out of the three I would've gone for, and the pool of budget "meta" watch picks isn't exactly that big to begin with(but it does make you question the overall reliability of AI). That said, without much further ado, here's mine:

Casio F91W - $13 - GADA Watch

Orient Bambino v1 - $195 - Dress Watch

Invicta Pro Diver NH35 - $86.90 - ̶T̶Cool Watch

Just less than $6 shy off $300.

Ladies and gentlemen, have fun, and happy hunting!

Casio Duro - $50

CasiOak - $100

Timex Marlin 34mm -$100

$50 to buy both a F91-w and a Casio Royale

Impressive, actually, not a single Casio, and none of these are meta picks either. You went off the beaten track with this one, well done.

I'd have gone for the Casioak myself as an easy bet but the main drawback I had with it that got me to reconsider is how they're at a 47mm, which is why I settled for the Duro since 44m can look less on some small sized wrists so it can somewhat pass.

I actually liked what Ben did in the video where he also included options based on wrist sizes as well.

Thanks. To be fair, we have here in europe especially in germany a big market of affordable but good watch brands. Unfortunately no everyone has an official distribution to overseas, as like Dugena.

I also wrote already articles where I listed some affordable german watch brands. If you are interested Part1 Part2 . Soon their will be a Part3 and later a list of affordable Swiss brands.
