I was just wondering if any of you Crunchies have assmebled your own watch. I've done a few with parts from ofrei.com and diywatch.club. I really like my ofrei one, but am always looking for new parts, especially dials and hands.

I'm a wearer of watches only.
I'll swap/size bracelets but I have a guy for serious stuff.
I am just starting to dabble into assembly/modding. I am currently (or I am supposed to be) finishing off a custom graff dial, but I am lazy and it’s just sitting there with just the primer and fluoro-white base coat applied. I suck…
I made (well actually I mucked it up and they finished it for me) this giant watch from Rotatewatches.com but I never wore it and gave it away because it was ginormous.
This is a game for people with good vision or at least well lit magnification, and a magically barren clean place for when the parts fall to the floor, as they will.
I've put one together from parts I bought from Aliexpress. The watch itself cost me $85. Then the straps I got on Amazon. I got a leather strap and 2 nato straps for it. I definitely believe you should have the right tools to put it together. It will make life easier. But it didn't come out that badly.
I will be trying to build another watch again with the right tools.
