Jubilee Stout

A recent purchase that I’m truly enjoying and I’m extremely appreciative that it was within my reach. The gmt master 2’s bezel action is smooth and crisp. Which may not seem right but once you’ve tried one on, you’ll understand. I will admit to some apprehension in wearing it, due to then bi-metal but it’s so comfortable that I can’t help myself.

Love this watch, great choice

Pictures do not capture how good this actually is. It’s an incredible piece in hand. At least to me. Easy to think not so sure about two tone gmt….then you have it in hand. So great!! Enjoy the awesomeness!

I just got mine a couple weeks ago, really digging it, it's a little flashy and I get a little self conscious but I don't think most people really notice it...

Fun fact, mine came with a perfectly aligned crown, which is rare I think, I have other Rolexes from the AD and all have randomly aligned crowns never straight up and down...

I purchased the same piece a couple weeks ago. Because of my large wrist I had to order additional links. Hopefully they’ll be in soon. I think it has plenty of eye appeal, and I feel the bezel and dial work together very nicely. Question: why are you apprehensive about wearing it?

This is the best looking GMT Master II in the current catalog. Everything works, even better than on the CHNR and that one isn't half bad... If I had bigger wrists I would own this 💯💸

Thanks Halfwound,

I completely agree. The way the gold inlay plays on the black/grey bezel is stunning, of course the jubilee bracelet adds to it all.

Thank you Phillylawyer,

I truly appreciate being able own it and I don’t mean that from a brown nosing the a.d perspective, but a financial one.

Hey Tobester,

Thanks for sharing your pics, you wear it well. And you’re absolutely correct about being subconscious but as you stated most people don’t notice. The average person will simply think it’s an homage piece. The only, “problem” may be with employees, so I probably won’t wear mine at work just yet. Let me know your thoughts on the latter.

Hey Syb,

Thanks for the comment. My feelings of apprehension stem from being a business owner and understanding that staff members, clients and similar are always watching. Especially with it being a blue collar business, there are different restraints regarding these topics I would have opposed to a white collar business. However, maybe it’s all in my head, what are your thoughts ?

Oh yeah , I wouldn't wear this to client meetings because they will think I charge too much if they see the Gold glimmering in the light... I'll stick to my steel Sub no date or Panerai maybe... This piece is for daily wear but not any dirty work or gym, I switch to a G-Shock Master of G for those activites

I'm still in the honeymoon phase so I've been wearing it non stop the last two weeks pretty much, it's a really gorgeous piece... I do like the new steel one too tho with the green GMT hand, but after hitting 40 years old I kinda like a bit of Gold...

Either way I'm done buying anything for a while (I hope)

Hey Crown,

Don’t sell yourself short, have you tried it on already?

Ok. I understand your dilemma. I hope you can find plenty of times to wear and enjoy it.

The unobtainable grail right there. Who knows, maybe someday I will get the 126713. Congrats on that masterpiece of a watch.

Thank you very much, and I hope it’s not truly unobtainable. How’s your collection shaping up thus far ?

I did not. Perhaps I will eventually, when I'm not in a rush passing the shops. But I see it often in the exhibition window, usually next to other GMTs, and it's such a nice watch.

Lovely. Put myself on a list, albeit it’s another country. But I’m due back there in a couple of months. Maybe I’ll get lucky. Cheers.

As I live in a country that is a tourism destination, I understand. People come from various parts of the world to collect watches from our A.D all the time. I hope you get it and enjoy it.

Good Morning Wanton,

Those A.D lights shine very brightly upon this piece. Lol.

I’m try to get a watch in the $500 range currently. Finding it hard to find what to get. One reason is the watches I do like the designs of have issues with fit like Seiko with hands, chapter, and the worse, bezel insert misalignment. So I really want a diver, but in this price range, it seems hard to find all those points perfect.

Hey Jade,

Maybe take a look at this list and see if anything catches your eye, then visit a store to try it on.
