Which one next....

So, I picked these little chaps up on eBay last week and they're both in line for a day or two at the Gasworks spa.

This one is a champagne dial 7019 Seiko 5 from 1976. It runs poorly and desperately needs a service. The case is tired and the crystal needs replacing... or much work with sanding/polywatch... before I decide it needs replacing...

Whereas this one is a 7006 from 1971 (not a Seiko 5) with no quick day adjustment... only the date. The good old days! It does run but it's erratic and, again, is in much need of a service. The case is very tired and the crystal definitely needs replacing.

The question is... which one first?

I could have done a poll but polls don't allow pictures in this part of the text ... so answers on a postcard (or just comment below)

Both watches are very nice. I would start with the 7006. Hope we will see the "after" photos.

There'll definitely be after photo's. Hopefully they look and run better than they do now or I'll look rather daft 🤣

I'd go with the 7006(glad you know what it is, to me it's the blue one😆) as I like the blue face and the case shape. Both of them look to have great straps. Good luck with them.

Start with the older 7006 from 1971. She's needs some TLC. Enjoy bud!

Needs a crystal and a rear card gasket (both ordered) and the movement will be serviced. But hopefully it'll turn out quite nicely.
