@dendirk @Sorsha & myself @Galactica went shopping in KL today, it was carnage 🤣
@dendirk was brought to the dark side with a GS heritage winter & I bought the boutique only Kameido king seiko.
I think we made the day of the young lady who helped us 😊🌴

Love all kinds of watches, but not all watches. Self confessed Seikofile, but not exclusively. Compulsive collector, definitely!

It was a great experience.
They had plenty of stock & it almost turned into a feeding frenzy
But they were strict on the discount levels, 10% on king & 15% on grand + watches are tax free in MY
Tried for 15% both or a higher discount for multiple qtys, we even walked away & went back and tried again. But the answer was always the same, and the young lady seemed genuine & wasn't pushy at all.
A good experience in the mega mall 👍

those discounts + tax free are cheaper than I've ever gotten! sometimes I've found the occasional high end seiko on sale in Japan (I could've got the SLA 62MAS for 2k, didn't, and will forever regret!) but it's rare and I've never seen much discount on a non grey market GS. Nice catch!

The purple King is £1720 in the UK with no discounts available (boutique only) i paid £1390
and the GS was even better. the boutique gave 5% more discount than the grey market in the other Mall 😎
