Which TV test card dial do you like best?
After seeing a Swatch brand homaging Sea-Gull (at first I thought it was an April fool's joke) I can't help but ask which is your favourite of these novelty dials.

I like a novelty, but these are borderline illegible. Aesthetically... about equal.
I actually like that Mido as a novelty, but I wouldn't buy one.

Indeed, I remember when my parents' TV set had 2 channels and its remote control had 2 feet: mine.

Because trying to agree on everybody's favourite TV show and reproduce it as a cloisonné dial gave both the marketing and the product development departments collective headaches.
seagull looks good on pics but on video looks quite bad.. too messy

Might be a cool idea if they introduced “the static background” version with textured dial and contrasting hands.
Or if they make a cloissone dial showing michael scott from the Office
I choose the microwave background radiation from the big bang dial :)
