Summer is not over yet! What watches did you bring to your last vacation spot? Do you usually bring many?

Recently visited Cape cod area for a week of beaches and visit Provincetown and Boston. Could not set my mind to just one or two so I took a nato and filled it with some fun watches.

Made a little montage of them. My most worn were the Seiko sne573 and the casiooak. But I was glad to have many to choose from. Boston on the baby green alpinist (Celtics Fan!)

Do you bring many watches on a week trip? Is there one watch that you would never leave without? My sne573 will always be a part of my trips. I feel it's the most versatile yet rugged light perfect companion for travelling!

Enjoy the rest of your summer days!

I usually take 1 cheap watch on vacation and it spends very little time on my wrist.

I'm on vacation and the time is usually irrelevant.

·

Just one watch for my week in Vancouver

·

Vacations are always at the beach. What I take:

Timex Tide/Temperature/Compass quartz watch, to help with my fishing timing:

Invicta Pro Diver automatic, because it's tough:

And this last trip, included my inexpensive (and I have doubles of this one), Ochstin automatic, for an evening out watch that I don't have to worry about:

Great pics, btw! 👍

I’ve been on vacation the last couple of weeks in Northern France. I brought my Baltic Aquascaphe Dual Crown with rubber strap and sailcloth style strap.

It has been a trooper - coped with the sea and swimming pool a number of times, plus a whole lot of sun screen. The bezel has also been useful for timing the washing machine on the campsite!:

That's a very good and wise choice! I don't have any citizens yet but probably my next diver if they can make 39-40 mm ones

Depends on the location and activities. My last vacation in July I brought the following.

1. Tissot Visodate - Dinner watch.

2. Wooden Watch - Wedding in Turks & Caicos. Summer theme.

3. Casio Royale - Beach.

4. Citizen Navihawk-AT - Daily.

Wooden watch? I'm curious now 🤔. Always nice to have watches for different occasions yes! Thanks!

And very beautiful ones indeed! Great pictures! Cool yellow strap!

The last times I went on (short) vacations I only took with me the GW-M5610U square on a combi-bracelet.

Number of occasions when I wished I brought an another or different watch = 0.

·

Currently on my most recent vacation, and I have brought two:

  1. Vaer G5 GMT Diver

Image

2. Seiko Spirit SCVS003

Image

Between the two of them, the G5 has gotten the lion's share of wrist time, partly because I brought extra quick change bracelets for the G5, and I could vary the look. 😄

·

Visited south of France and northern Italy in July, brought just the one watch (Squale 1545):

Image

Went to the beach, swimming, hiking, boat trips, busy places, narrow alleys...not worrying about WR or an occasional bump into a rock or railing...very important to have peace of mind on holiday 😎

·

Great pics!

I took only my G-shock on my mountain bike holiday in Morzine the alps and then my Tudor black bay 36 for a 3 week trip round northern Italy. No point in taking more than 1 versatile watch IMO but each to their own!
