My son is destroying my G-SHOCK 🫣

So, a few months ago I needed my 7YO son to wear a watch with several alarms that remind him something during the day. And I decided to lend him my G-SHOCK GMA S2100-7A. You know, It’s small and It’s a G-SHOCK, they can resist the abuse of a kid.

Well, long story short It’s been 6 months and I’m not sure my G-Shock It’s going to survive 🫠🫣.

Maybe CASIO needs to start using kids in order to test the true durability of the G-Shock 😂😂😂.

I need to buy my son a proper beater watch. Do you guys care to recomend an option? I just need it to have multiple alarms.

Thanks!

Amazon and ebay and the like (probably aliexpress) sell aftermarket keepers made of silicone or whatnot. Wristarmor, probably others, have them in metal. Why give him something new to thrash?

But if so, get a SKMEI.

I recommend the cheapest Casio or Timex that he thinks looks cool.

Let him have fun, and plan to replace the watch a couple of times a year. Eventually, as he gets older he'll be easier on them... maybe. 🤣

Casio AE1200, AE1300 or WS1600

Children will destroy anything and everything, that's why I went back to the old toys made of wood.

I would keep the watch (module), and go on eBay to buy replacement bezels and resin straps. You can even swap out to your kids favorite colour.

Or maybe look at getting a cheap G-Shock Square? Easy to use.

Hi , the band did not survive, the watch did and it will for another 50 years. Maybe he likes the idea 💡 of modding it and choosing the replacement for it , and change it with dad ... It will look like an AP!

No better way to start the watch collection bug than a 7 year old and a G Shock!
