I picked this up as something to mod, though I'm not sure what the exact plan is yet. I was on the fence but when I saw it for sale for $90 I decided to go for it. I have had three different tissot prx's but for whatever reason I found myself trading them off for something else. Comparing the pagani to the tissot you notice a difference in quality but given the price it'll be fun to put my own spin on it.

I'm ashamed to say I like it a bit more than the PRX.
Like all of their stuff, for the price it looks amazing. I suspect the bracelet is where they probably fall short, the PRX bracelet is pretty great for it’s price.

Thats the main thing you notice, no quick release either. I think I have a spare link for a prx here so I'll compare sizes one of these days.

im not fan of the waffle dial on the prx automatic. too bad there isnt any clean dial option for the automatic version, do you feel the same?

For me it was mostly perceived quality. I handled both the quartz and automatic models and both felt cheap and chinsey to me.

Interesting. I have the PRX automatic and I've always thought the quality was on point. Granted, I've only really ever handled a handful of watches. The only ones in my collection that beat the PRX in terms of perceived quality are the Omega Seamaster and the Tag Heuer Formula 1. The rest cost less than the PRX, making them feel like less quality. I'm no expert.
As for the Pagani, it looks more like the automatic version of the PRX quartz than the actual PRX automatic because of the non-waffle dial and the chrome-less date window.

I imagine it’s difficult to brush the bracelet, then polish the bits between links. Visually, I love the way those little polished sections flash on the PRX. I’m surprised by that bracelet at $650, so doing it for $100 is way too much to ask.
It’s funny the company name has “design” in it and they literally specialize in NOT designing, just copying. Oh China 😒
I hear you though, I’ve bought a PD as well for the express purpose of tearing apart. it was cheaper than ordering those parts separately! 🙄🤪
I have another that I took in trade. I like the car shape and I'm just waiting for a sarg007 dial to arrive to make a cool field watch.
