Summer watch

I'm thinking about a summer beach watch and wanted to see what you'd do. As the photo shows in really considering this ti citizen but I'm also thinking about building a new watch or just using what I have.

Not sure what you have…but I don’t think there’s anything as a Summer watch. Just get some fun straps and anything can be a summer watch.

I love my Citizen Dive watch. It’s not the one your looking at but being titanium and eco drive it should be comfortable to wear.

Mostly I think I'm using it as an excuse for a new watch. Usually I'll take my steinhart ocean one to the beach.

Then go get it…life is short. You don’t need our opinion or permission 😂

Well I'm an enabler so I'd say get a new one. But if it's a "summer" watch then I'd get something more colourful or with a dial that will play with the light.

I've got the auto (green) version of the Ti Citizen which I will be taking to the beach for a couple of weeks next month. But 'summer beach watch' says white or orange dial for me. Dan Henry 1975 or Seiko SSK005 would be my choices

Your existing Rolex is fine. You know what they say about excuses.

While I haven't ruled out the citizen I ended up getting an alpinist.

Boo! J/K the alpinist is great, just don't jive with a mechanical
