New watch for my son

So my son turns 3 in a couple weeks and he likes my divers watches since bezel spins.  Hedoes have a toy watch but it doesn't have a spinning bezel so enter this little casio.  I'll be changing out the band for some elastic but I think he'll like it.

He does like stealing my watches though...

He’ll feel very grown up wearing that watch.

How fun! Mine loves engaging the chronograph on mine so I got him his own 😊

That's so cool, I guarantee he's going to love having a grown up watch like his dad.

My oldest boy keeps borrowing my watches (well some of them, he knows not to take the more expensive ones) this is despite having bought him a Citizen Promaster and gifting him a Seiko Solar Tuna watch. But as he gets older and you may find this also, that their tastes will change and dresser watches may be more their taste. My son likes to wear my 1964 Seiko Sportsmatic, so I've taught him well 🤣

My son is almost 18 so a bit of a age difference between you're 3 year old, but trust me, time does literally fly by 💯

That is so cool! I’m sure one day he’ll look back and be so thankful he has a Dad who got him into watches at such an early age! He sounds like a cool kid, I too like divers because the bezel spins.

I'm sure you already check this and supervise his watch play, but its worth mentioning that there are many small parts which if a watch is damaged when dropped could become accessible.

Just putting it out there for anyone doing the same.

Oh and Casio all the way!

My 6 year old son’s 3 watch collection. He wears the calculator watch to school and the full lume Lorus to bed which is very readable all night. Just this weekend he accidentally wore his calculator watch through an entire swimming lesson in the pool and zero water ingress. Very tough and inexpensive little watch for kids with a way cooler vibe than a no name screen watch.

Excellent choice sir

Start them young! This is so awesome. My dad got me started with my obsession with time, not so much watches. He had a few cool ones, but it was more about being a time fanatic. If I had kids, they'd be wearing watches from the point of birth and would be hearing stories of watches as their bed time stories.

Consider an inelastic NATO strap too. You want to make sure it’s loose enough. My son (8) also loves watches and yeah, Casio is an amazing brand for light watches.

If you know where to look for one. Many thanks. I have been getting my daughter into watches.
