Rarer than a Rolex Explorer? The Russian Explorer!
I’ve spotted a fair few Rolex Explorers in the wild but only one Raketa Big Zero! It’s a quirky piece and I can’t think of another watch that has a ’0...
The proportions of this are spot on. This is the best SMP. Much nicer bracelet than the five link blue version. It has a lovely taper and is exceptionally comfortable and well designed . Mine has some battle scars but it wears them well.

This is on Chrono24. A new model, 38mm sub 3k. Seems to tick your boxes. It’s classic, super accurate, same movement as in the smp300 so ultra durable. I’d say that is a pretty good deal!

I bought it over three years ago privately from a watch trader, it was his own and basically unworn. I think I got a good deal. I wanted version 3 of the watch so searched hard and did my research. Any model you get will give you a lot of pleasure! Good luck!
Does the Omega Railmaster make more sense as a proposition? It out performs the Milgauss and channels the field watch aesthetic more than adequately!...
