Lorier Astra Cosmic Blue coming 17th Nov.

Damn!

Looking good with Miyota 9015 automatic movement.

Check out more on their webside for more info.

Me too as well. I like their clean line!

But gotta wait until I see what kind of price they’ll have on this one.

I like them, I just wish they would expand their design language a little. A lot of Lorier watches share a very similar case and bracelet design. I like the commonality to a point, but I would like to see them alter it to suit different models.

It depends on how wide they want to go. It’s difficult to expand with many difference types.

As you’ll see it’s Lorier watch instead, what is that? With clean line and tradition they can achieve higher level on the road :)

·

Yup. I'm in for one..... 😂

Told my girlfriend I wasn’t going to buy more watches for this year. This re-release might single-handledly put my relationship in danger. 😅

Never ever promise something you can’t hold 😅

·

That is very nice. Sharp lines. 👌

·

Thats very pretty 😍

·

I really like their design, case sizes, and bracelet choice. I'm just curious... to those who already owns a Lorier watch: how is the case and bracelet finishing quality? And does the bracelet end links "marries" perfectly with the case Lugs?

·

I ask because I've been seeing Lorier watch owner's posts of a different but current model with ss bracelet whose end links seems not having an exact fit 🤔

Good question. I’ve never owned one. But Lorier is on my wish list as well. If you’re unsure, here is Caseback watches from YouTube, I like to follow him on spec and good vision speech https://youtu.be/NuVID7I3x_E?feature=shared

I see you joined the Crunch this month, so welcome aboard! I’m slowly learning about this brand (very beloved in this community) and liking some of their releases, particularly the new Hydra Zulu! Happy hunting and stay warm in Norige 🤙

Thank you :)

Step by step ^^ It’s so many watches to check out. I just started with watches again after many years to come. A bit older, more wise (I hope) to seek and learn deeper :D

How about you?

You are so correct… so many nice watches, yet little time/money haha. I love the hobby and try to remember the most important thing: have fun and respect others 🤙❤️

You’re absolutely right. Take your time and it’s only for yourself, not for others.

Money will always hit and run. But the time is where you’ve to use every minute until the end!

Looks good. You could imagine Don Draper wearing a watch like this in the 60s. Congratulations on your purchase! 🍻

Months ago I really wanted to buy an Astra, but time has dampened my excitement. I still think it looks good, but I will be passing on it.

·

Dang I’m traveling that day. Hope it doesn’t sell out before I am able to check it out.

Absolutly. It’s good people are different.

For me I think it will be too small 36mm on my wrist.

But the lines is very beautiful with red colour on the date. I loved that!

Hi, I'll ask my question here since it's such a popular tread. I'm willing to get a lorier astra (most probably a regular white edition), and I've been planning to do so for quite some time already. I live in the EU so it's a hassle with taxes and shipping. But I will be in NY in 3 weeks. Do you guys think I should pre-order ASAP and not miss out, or will it be available for pick-up in the Grand Central Watches, as they claim on their website? Any experiences?

Good question. Maybe you should send them an email and ask if you can order it and pick it up during your trip?

Thanks! That is one of my plans, though in the ideal situation, I would be able to compare Falcon and Astra before deciding which one to get... If that's not possible thenI'll go for Astra, though I originally eyed the black 3-6-9 option that I still lack in the collection! But I've sold my SARB033 since, so a white elegant/sporty watch is also sth I don't have.

Sarb033 its the SEIKO right?

Lorier is something special, Falcon and Astra, you can’t go wrong either of them ^^ Might be a bit smaller than Seiko one.

Right, exactly, that is Seiko. I do want something smaller and more vintage-looking. SARB is a brilliant piece and wears well, but the case and crystal are very modern-styled, hence the decision to swap.

Totally agreed. Seiko might be a bit more mainstream, while Falcon and Astra represent the vintage in modern lines.
