This Baltic is really scratching the Seamaster 300 itch

Of all the watches I can't (and wouldn't) afford, the Omega Seamaster 300 is probably my favorite. I just love the design and the era it is paying homage to. That said, I've had this Baltic for about 2 weeks now and.....wow. I'm a value watch guy and I think I've hit the sweet spot in the past, but this thing is really punching above it's price point and the most satisfying thing (to me) is the design. I mean, it's no spec monster (but the specs are great), the faux patina lume isn't going to blind anyone (but it's good), etc. Everything is executed very well, but it is really just the look that has me really pleased. Ticks a lot of the Seamaster 300 boxes: Sandwich dial, thin minimalist bezel, no crown guards, kind of a skin diver feel, but with arguably (no argument for me)......... better dimensions. 39mm across the bezel X 47mm L to L, and 12mm thick, vs 41mm X 50mm X..... 13.85mm (!?!). Obviously the Seamaster is a premium, superior overall product, but if you have the itch for one and don't feel like dropping that kind of money, this little guy will almost certainly scratch the itch. Also, it is a considerable challenge to find a strap that doesn't look phenomenal on this watch!

Nice pickup! Enjoy!

Congrats, Very nice watch.

Love the design. I don't think I could decide between the black or blue version. Would probably have to flip a coin.

I have been admiring this watch from afar. I tried on both the Omega 300 Heritage and the Longines Heritage diver and neither one of them went home with me. This watch gives me Blanc Pain Fifty Fathoms vibes and looks so good at a more attainable price point!

Congrats on the pick up and glad you love it!

I've been enjoying the lorier neptune for the same sort of itch.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I bought mine to scratch the 300 itch as well! What strap do you have?

imo Baltic is an underrated watch brand. Great choice sir!

·

Beautiful! Congrats. 🍻

Certainly a better brand to celebrate that look with than some of the direct rips over on AliExpress. Kudos. I find Baltic an interesting brand. Way more premium in quality than many microbrands.

It looks great, I am thinking about the blue dial one. How's the quality? Bezel's ok?

·

I love that Baltic keep their dimension on the smaller side of things for all their models. I’ve been looking at their bronze options recently.

Bezel is really nice. It's sapphire and the action is nice. Clicky with no back back play. 👍

Love the look with that strap.

Best I’ve seen that watch look.

Congratulations on a beautiful timepiece.
