BB58 on tour

I think the BB58 is really at home by the ocean. Taken on our recent visit. Table Mountain from Blouberg Strand, Cape Town, South Africa

I need to get one of those in my wrist and compare it with the BB54. To know if they feel very different?

I thought all dive watches were for desk diving. You mean they can actually go in the ocean? 😲

I tried a 54 on when I bought my 58, it felt a little too small on my 17.5cm wrist.

I didn’t go into the water it’s freezing, South Atlantic Ocean off Cape Town. I did dunk it in a dam, and it survived the swim!

For me, the 58 just hits differently size wise. It's my sweet spot. And the 54 feels a tad too small. But by no means unwearable. It's a beautiful watch. Just not the one for me.

Watches are the best travel buddies🏝️

You're right! That watch with that backdrop... perfect match! 😃

Beautiful photo of a beautiful watch👌

I miss Table Mountain! I haven’t been to South Africa in about a decade… someday. I’m getting BB58 in the next month or so. Photos like this just seal the deal.

Go for it, Table Mountain and the BB58, you won’t regret it.

The Cape is such a wonderful place. I'm a South African myself, but I live inland. Places in the south Cape like Mosselbaai and George have always been my second home. If you ever come back, those are some places worthy of a visit. The Grundheim wine farm (they do a lot more than wine) is an excellent stop. Some of the best liqueurs and gins and other strange concoctions I've ever had.

Here's my Nivada Antarctic Spider at some other beach in the Cape.

Yeah my partner is from SA, although she’s from the Midlands. We always visit CT when we’re over visiting family. Lovely classy watch btw, looks great on that leather strap.
