Chopard luc grand cru Vs Breguet 5277

I don't know the answer to your question but that Breguet is for me the epitome of the best of modern watchmaking whilst retaining the look of the most beautiful timepieces of the past. It's stunning.

Very well chosen watches. Both exceptional. Regarding finishing quality most would say the Breguet, especially with the rose engine turned dial. But the LUC range from chopard is also superb. I would go with whichever design you prefer. It is also important to say that these can look great in a shot but not great on the wrist so if you have the chance try them on.

When you get to that level, you are talking a matter of preference I believe, IE they are both excellent. I love a micro rotor, so as much I prefer Breguet, that Chopard would get my vote for doing more with the space.

As others have said I have no idea which is better but I know I prefer the LU Chopard

Take internet slights with a grain of salt. Horological significance, Breguet is arguably the only contender to knock out of of the three in the supposed trilogy, if it went to a vote, I think many would remove AP and give it to them...However Chopard is no slouch either. To me, the micro rotor in a similar sized space is more of an achievement technically.

Regarding the ap 1000% . I saw a code 11.59 recently, it’s good but not up there .

The special thing about the Lange is the engineering of the watch. It is simply so well made. Its design is fine but simple and arguably boring. But its construction is exquisite

I wish smn did comparison of these big boys in terms on movement and finishing . I wonder how does the 5277 hold up

Well that is a pretty stiff competition - Breguet versus Chopard (LUC)

I have to give the edge to Chopard.

I have several of each brand in the collection and I find that LUCs just have a slight edge over Breguet.

No , the 41 mm case seemed lil too big . Had to return it . Now hunting this Breguet) wanted to get a Lange but prices r ridiculous now (
