I’m still new at this; but I am fairly confident that the “4R36” referenced on the bottom of the dial is an automatic mechanical movement. I have a Seiko Presage that has the 4R35 in it. So something is definitely up with this watch I would guess

Yeah as @CrazyBlue says the Seiko 5 range is always automatic it’s one of the 5 points along with some level of water proofness, a date complication (originally meant to be a day/date but they’ve changed that), a protected crown and a display caseback. So this one misses out on 2 things.
Since the 5 in Seiko 5 stands for: an automatic winding mechanism, water resistance, a day and date display, a durable case, and a recessed crown at the 4 o'clock position, I'm quite confident that it's a fake
Day and date look all wrong. And SAT should be blue anyway. Check.
As Foghorn said, that "Quartz" script. Font never seen on a Seiko watch. Check.
However . . .
With Seiko being Seiko, releasing as many models over the years as fast as possible with no advance information, promotion, rhyme or reason, and with these 5 different characteristics, who's to say this isn't the brand new first-time-ever-weird-font-new-crown-no-display-caseback Quartz Seiko 5?

Thanks! I have a picture of the back too

That one should not be quartz.
That is very fake!!! Queue the “It’s a fake” meme from Star Trek Deep Space Nine

As fake as fake can be.
No effort at all to make it look real.
I love the "Quartz" script.
Hit it with a hammer.
That’s the fakest Seiko I’ve ever seen. The Seiko 5 line stands for 5 key features and one of them is an automatic movement:)
Seiko 5s are always automatic, not quartz. Check.
Different crown and guards. Check.
No display caseback on this model. Check.
Day and date look all wrong. And SAT should be blue anyway. Check.
