Amsterdam Watch Recommendations

First post, in Amsterdam for a week and wanted to see if anyone has any recommendations for Watch spots to hit up. I’m already planning on stopping by Amsterdam Vintage Watches and Amsterdam Watch Company, but wanted to see if there were any other spots worth while.

Similar to that, looking for anywhere that sells watch straps in Amsterdam that anyone who recommend.

Ace Jewellers are great - family business and superb reputation, got my first “nice” watch from them about 20 years ago.

Oris boutique is great too and a full range of stock.

Enjoy Amsterdam, one of my favourite cities, let me know if you need any other recommendations!

Hey @project880 sorry for the late reply, but yes! Besides the Oris boutique mentioned, I stopped by the Seiko Store there and checked out some limited edition Seikos and some Grand Seikos.

I only got to pass by Amsterdam Watch Company and Amsterdam Vintage Watches. Both store have a smaller selection then some of the big jewelers but they had some really cool pieces. Both stores are by appointment only, but you can get an appointment day before or day of.

Lastly Amsterdam Time Classics was a neat little store that had a variety of watches. It was a nice stop and saw some vintage Omegas and Seiko divers. Again, another small selection store but still a fun stop.

But with that, there are a bunch of stores to stop by in the Amsterdam. Unfortunately didn’t have the time to make all the stops I wanted, but good reason to go back. Please post your visit! I’ll follow to see the fun!

@project880 and if you want to check out a local watch brand, Fromanteel is a brand that is based in Amsterdam. Got it recommended by a fellow watch crunch user but I didn’t get to make an appointment to check them out. Personally didn’t seem like my thing but always fun to see local brands!
