Amsterdam Oris Boutique: A Worthwhile stop

From a recommendation from a fellow Watch Crunch user (@Danmitch), I stopped by the Oris Boutique in Amsterdam. Easily would have missed the shop but glad it was recommended as the experience was great! The workers took out tons of pieces for me to look at as well as showing/telling me about some of the limited editions and some of the history. Also got to talk to them about their love for watches and how they ended up working at Oris.

As you can probably see, I was interested in the big crown in bronze at first, but after she the pro pilot skeleton and even just the SS big crown, I’m not so sure I’ve made up my mind 😂. They showed me the pro pilot Kermit and altimeter as well. Kermit not for me, but the altimeter was beautiful.

Before leaving, the staff gave me the normal customary catelogue of watches and a little Holstein keychain (I’ll post it later). Left the place knowing an Oris is on my horizon.

Hope some of you fellow crunchers get the chance to stop by if you are ever in that area.

Recently saw the rectangular that looks really cool.

It is a great shop. It always was, and even more as they revamped it into their own (used to be an AD owned by a local family)

So pleased you had a good experience, it’s always on my mind when I make a recommendation so I’m glad it lived up to it.
