Some watches wait for the right strap, I think your Sarb has found its soulmate.
100%. Strap can make or break the watch. My Raymond Weil 5768 is a very nice watch (it's a Cartier Tank homage, so of course the style is nice) but OEM strap is vey underwhelming. Just ordered a couple of leather straps, gonna try it on and pair a watch with a right strap.

Its weird, some watches just work 100% better with the right strap. You see it often enough on WC and some combinations that shouldn't work but absolutely do. I recently got a yellow Barton (on sale £6) and put on my blue Duro and works a treat, and I dislike yellow in general!

yeah, that's why straps are fun.)
I don't like some basic colours like green, yellow or even sometimes blue, but with watch straps I really start looking at unusual options outside of brown/tan/chocolate comfort range. I've never thought that I'm gonna wear any shade of red, but I got myself a red watch strap and pulled a trigger on a burgundy blazer.
My Smiths Everest looks the business and wears great on a blue Artem strap . Fits like a glove 🥊 and just suits its style so well . It took three different straps before it was just right !

Thanks, I’m blushing!
Nice strap of choise. My bracelet still has the plastic on. For the moment I have it on a brown suede.

That sounds like a fantastic pairing as well, especially with the off white dial
