Does anyone use their watch complications for something specific?
I find that I use the dive bezel to time my lunch break at work. For some reason if feels like I really own that time vs keeping time on a cellphone....
When I took out the pin I even used a loupe to see what was up. It was a normal straight pin and collar. From what I could see the pin could come out either direction and there was a middle friction line on the pin that would hit the center of the collar. Even when the links were off there was no obvious way to flip up the side of the link. I think what I did was probably the correct way. The part I don't understand is why their instructions indicate arrows which are not there and a flipping link which seems to not be a thing lol. I hope it stands the test of time ha.
Well Zodiac still claims the instructions are correct but I could not make it work. So I just took a gamble and treated it as a normal pin and collar and seemed to work lol. Nothing like taking a big gamble on an expensive watch. But meet the new addition to the watch fam all sized up lol.
Yeah I had never done one before. Pretty decent quality. Now that I have done one I feel like I could source parts or mod a Seiko on my own. The second hand was the only thing that gave me some trouble.
The Oris Green Dial big crown is super unique. It is a super rich Olive. I personally like it with the bronze. The patina protects the metal and you can clean it off if you want pretty easily. It makes it even a more durable everyday wear. This watch somehow goes with everything and I tend to reach for it more than others. Also the Lume is one of my favorite lumes. It also is a watch that gets comments but because of the patina it can be low key enough to go with anything. Unassuming at first but then when someone actually looks at it they think it's a beautiful watch.
First time posting. Thought it would be a cooler post. But things are tricky. Anyways got a Zodiac GMT. I have resized all my watches even a double sc...
