Rolex ID? Real or fake?

Hi guys I just found this on an online listing (sorry for the bad quality picture's). It's probably fake right? The seller sais he got it from a family member a long time ago but I really like it (date just is kinda my grail watch). How can I figure out if these are real? Thanks!

Hard to say ...... with so many Rolex fakes, I wouldn't do it.

Based on those 2001 flip phone blurry pics I would say 100% fake. The dial doesn't match the color or the bezel. I would ask for better pictures.

The logo looks bad compared to the real one

I don’t know. It’s hallmarked as 18k on the back of the lug and inscribed stainless steel between the lugs. Seems like a conflict to me.

The DJ would get a gold bezel but it seems to me that’s where the 18k hallmark would go. But I am no expert on Rolex.

On the Datejust, bracelet looks wrong, serial looks wrong, bezel looks wrong, back looks wrong.

I am not as familiar with older Cellinis but given the seller, I'd stay away.

Crappy pics and shady provenance are hallmarks of fake watches for sale.

Move on and don't look back.

Offer to meet in person at a LWM's place of business for inspection. If they don't want to do that you know there's problems with the watches.

Good idea but I really feel that the person doesn't know what he has on their hands (i suspect a elder)

Good catch on the 18k

As a general note, Rolex two tone does not have 18k on the back of its watches. It does have stainless steel between the lugs
