I was trying to post this yesterday on #speedytuesday but for some reason I couldn’t post.
Since buying this grail #omega about a month ago I’ve appreciated it more and more.
At first I wondered if I should stay true to the original and grab the #hesalite but liked the idea of a #saphirecrystal not scratching as easy. I also appreciated being able to see the infamous workings of this amazing time piece!
Overall, I’m so thrilled I have the opportunity to own such an amazing piece from this historical lineage.

Appreciate it!
I bought the 3861 sapphire sandwich as a spur of the moment decision while at my AD last May, and although I had a tinge of buyers remorse for a short time, it has become one of my favorite watches. I initially felt that the bracelet tapered too much, but have changed my mind on that - the bracelet is amazing and super comfortable. Between the legibility, the accuracy, the comfort, the look, the history, and the caseback allowing a view of the nicely decorated movement, what's not to love. Congrats on the pickup.

Yeah, a lot of the same thoughts. Maybe not buyers remorse but thought the band tapered too much. but love it now and glad I have one!
