San Martin Update

I have worn the San Martin SN 085-g for four days now.  So far, the NH35 movement has been accurate to +/- 4 seconds a day.  The watch is comfortable and the initial roughness I experienced with the screw down crown has begun to work itself out.  I remain impressed with the over all build quality of the watch.  The bezel movement is smooth and it is aligned with the minute marks on the chapter ring.  There is virtually no backplay.  As you can see, the domed sapphire crystal could use a bit more anti-reflective coating, but it is acceptable.

Normally, I have only purchased watched from established brands, Orient, Seiko, SeaGull, Vostok, Stowa, Casio, and the like.  This is my first foray into a Chinese "microbrand".  I have to say that San Martin has done an excellent job with this watch.

They really make a solid piece, and most watches with a Nh35 nowadays seem to be within COSC standards, at least from what I've seen.

My Pagani Design with NH35 seems to be losing 5 seconds per day (at most). At such rate it would take at least 12 days before its accuracy deviates by one minute. I suppose it’s not that bad to be adjusting time about two times per month.
