I used to be a competitive skier and I bought some smartwatches through out the years to track my fitness… I got so used to wearing something on my arm that I always left them on, but because smartwatches are what they are, I started hating them… I don’t need that many informations and constant notifications on my arm, so I decided that every time I’m not training or working out, I’ll replace the watch with something that only shows time…
But I’m the type of person that does research first, I don’t just go to the grocery store and buy the first thing I see… and after weeks of researching and learning, pages after pages, I really found out a lot about this great “passion” as people call it, I discovered what I like and what I really don’t like…
So then it happened, after some months…to celebrate my birthday, I bought myself first collection peace… it was a Seiko Alpinist (which was limited edition and not just that, also limited to Europe only), I absolutely loved it (had to sell it later unfortunately) and that watch was the first watch that I can say “started my watch collecting journey”.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
My first watch EVER was the “Casio Calculator” that I once found at uncles house and liked it so much I later bought my own…
BUT:
My first watch that started my collecting hobby, was a Seiko Alpinist (blue glacier)
