C'est parfait.

Normally, I switch watches almost every day (sometimes multiple times a day - don't judge me!), but a little while ago, I had a week+ when things were incredibly stressful, and I found myself gravitating to one watch for an extended period of time. I have a number of "tool" watches that shout "dependable," "reliable," "robust" - exactly what marketing executives would suggest one needs when the sh** hits the fan, but for some reason I only wanted to wear my Fears Brunswick Blue. I found myself taking solace in its quiet charm. Once things calmed down, I reverted back to my promiscuous watch swapping, but with a new respect for my Fears.

Not surprisingly, I started looking through the Fears catalogue and came across this handsome boy. So now I'm thinking about selling a bunch of watches, my car, and my house to get the 💸$19,000 Ex. Vat 💸🤯... Or maybe, I'll just dream... it's such a handsome boy!

Love Farer, too! But in a very different way.

Wow. That's one beautiful watch. I've always been drawn to Fears - most recently their 38 Brunswick boutique edition. Something always seemingly holding me back from taking the plunge... well... let be honest, that something is the same something that keeps me from buying any watch... the price. 😂 If only I could afford all the pretty things in life.

The Boutique edition has the added benefit of only being available... you guessed it... in their boutiques. So unless I can convince the wife to take a vacation specifically to get me a watch, I'll just have to wait till they hit the secondary market.

Got my eye on the flamingo pink. Really dig that brand. Nice to see a shout-out on here.

Recently got the salmon Brunswick, and it's fantastic, just lovely. Do you think you'd nab one of the other colors so you don't have to sell a kidney? ;-)

I agree. That boutique edition is fantastic. The dial color is very special. I also like the James Porter and Son. As you say, all the pretty things...

That's a very good idea! Their 40mm automatics on bracelet are pretty tempting!

I thought they did a great job. I'm sure it's going to go for big money. At least I hope it does!
