Sticking with the racing theme...today it's the Armida A10 Chronograph in full Gulf livery...

Mel, what’s the significance of Gulf here? My only recollection are the gas stations.

The Gulf livery is famous in motor racing. Some of the most famous race drivers drove cars fitted out in the Gulf colors.

It's one of my favorite color combinations of pale blue and orange.

Here are some examples...

Absolutely killer Gulf colors!

I think they even look better than Martini.

Ferro & Co is a really cool microbrand. Bob and Ary are great.

I have a whole mini-collection of Ferro watches and they just finished launching another cool watch based on 1970s sector dial. I suggested they offer DLC coating and being the super cool guys that they are...they made it happen. Here are some pics from the Kickstarter campaign...

Would you be mad if I said, I should have known? Btw, the silver dial with the red stripe down the right side for the win.

No - of course I wouldn't be mad Rich. Unless you meant that I'm "mad" like in crazy and then I probably have to agree 😉

Here's a picture of the full set...I haven't gotten around to getting wrist shots of all of them (still need wrist shots of two more chronos)...they did five of the automatics and four of the quartz chronos...I agree the silver dial with the red stripe is pretty bitchin'...

I tried to get Bob to create a watchbox for them that would mimic an old Hot Wheels case, but I guess there wasn't enough interest.

Could you imagine having the full set and being able to display them in something like this...

Made my day! That brings me back. I had four older siblings. The hot wheels and racetracks got passed down as well as the Tyco Super Double Looper.
