My first watch was a Snoopy & the Red Baron Timex that my parents got me in the late ‘70s. I was a C-130 navigator in the Air Force, & having a decent watch was important to my job; these were usually G-Shocks. I bought my first decent watch in ‘04, a TAG Heuer 2000 auto, & through the years purchased a few others. When I retired from the Air Force, I bought a Tudor BB58 blue & have been wearing it almost exclusively since then.

This is a great thread with a lot of great comments. I have a Lorier Falcon II in black/gilt. I also have a BB58 blue & I wear it daily. It’s nice, but not 6x as nice as my Lorier!

I confess that when hiking, I double-wrist: auto on my left, Garmin Instinct on my right. When (if) I go to the gym, I just wear my Garmin on my left. I’m not an “in-public” double-wrister!

That’s an amazing watch with great history! I remember seeing the coach emblem & “Body by Fisher” on the rocker panels of my Dad’s old ‘82 Chevy Impala station wagon.
I’ve been eyeing up that 38mm mint green Islander “Brookville” as a possible summer watch! This color would be totally uncharacteristic of me but I think it’d be pretty cool.
