Turning into a cruncher. Help me chose a watch 🫢

Hello fellow crunchies. I’ve been wearing watches for a long time despite not considering myself an enthusiast. My watch collection mostly consists of presents from friends and family (they are listed in the first picture).

Recently I started making a little more more money and trying to pick a watch that I could save up for and look forward to. On the second picture I have listed some watches that I really like. Which of these would you recommend adding to the collection? Any feedback would be appreciated. (Btw I am aware that some pieces on the list are hard to get)

Someone gifted you a Rolex Sub date 🤯

Definitely the #rolex sub date, stand out from the collection 😜

I’m a fan of Christopher Ward and I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Moonglow, and as you’ve already got some great everyday pieces I’d vote for that. Plus it’ll be easier to get hold of than a few of the others.

The Cartier Tank, the Moser "apple watch" & Blancpain would be my choices, tho I'd add a Speedmaster.

Maybe look at historically important pieces rather than just brand new stuff- the research and the hunt are all part of the fun for me.

Good Luck 👍🏻

Glad to hear a similar opinion. I think the watch must be beautiful. Wish I could try it on before purchasing.

Which BP? The green one or the Hodinkee edition?

The Patek, Breitling pistachio, and Jeager are great options. The jeager is not something I would daily though. Good luck 👍

The one with numbers and not just indices. Both pretty cool tho I prefer Arabic's. 😍👍🏻

I love the Patek Philippe ref. 5226G it is a gorgeous and unique Calatrava and one my favorites outside of the world timers and the mindblowingly expensive Grand Complication Series.

JLC Master Control, Breitling Premier Pistachio, and an Omiwatari
