It is a No. 6 with a stainless blade and walnut handle. I got it last September after looking at them for years. It takes a great edge, but isn’t for heavy work. I think I will get a No. 8 Garden next!

I had an olive handle one with a carbon blade and then I tried ro force a patina on it with vinegar - ruined it 🤮

I'd like to be into carrying a knife on the reg, but so many places don't allow them and I've either been late to my event to take it back to my car or forfeit the knife too many times.

Yeah, no point in carrying it around if it's mostly just a hassle 😔

Hahah I love it how a lot of people from the watch space are also int EDC stuff and especially knives. I have been collecting pocket knives for a very long time but then stopped a couple of years ago because I kinda found my price and quality sweet spot with some very nice Spyderco knives :)

I slowed down with the edc and knife stuff as well, I am not getting as many new things as often as I used to a few years back, but I do have some very nice items (nice in a sense that I like them a lot) and a couple of grails I want to get.

My everyday carry knife is a Spyderco SpydieChef.

I have several. I have a PM2 and a Persistence that was my EDC before the SpydieChef. I cook a lot and a lot at my girlfriends and her friends places and none of them ever have a sharp knife lol. The Spydiechef was a no-brainer . Best knife I have ever had. I keep it chef sharp all the time. It will hack up a raw sweet potato in nothing flat. That is no small task. it handles everything else I need it to do and I never have to worry about it rusting. It gets washed a lot.

I told my wife about the overlap of watch and knife collecting and she was like: "What the hell? Guys are weird. So you can tell what time to stab someone?" 😂
