Finally can wear this one again.

Invicta Diver. I was resizing it and lost a springbar. Today I got my hands on some of them in a store! I went a bit out of my way, but not unpleasantly, listening to old country songs, seeing some cool cars. Resizing this watch wasn't too harrowing, but I saw a youtube video explaining how. Shout out to all the people who put up useful stuff online. I've had that set of tools for years, not the greatest but still useful. I'm thinking of getting a better quality kit and upgrading that one. I don't want to spend a ton on one since as of right now I won't be fiddling around with the insides of any watches until I get a better grasp of that aspect. A few weeks ago I took apart an old analog watch I broke while changing the battery. The amount of miniscule parts involved in that watch continues to impress me.聽

The breaking watch while trying to change the battery is ridiculous. I was weirdly overconfident even when I hit a good stopping point. I pressed on, incredibly caffeinated on some horrible energy drink, the soundtrack to Bloodsport blasting in the background. Usually, this kind of chaos is fine, I get things done. Thank you for the lessons the Colonel by Nixon. I wore it because it's just steel. I didn't like it because it doesn't have ANY lume or anything. It looked kinda cool and told the time, I suppose that's good enough. I would've given it away but I really beat it up.聽

Delving into the world of strap changes and bracelet resizing is great fun... and also scary and frustrating I've found 馃槅 This is the stage I'm at too and just bought a simple watch repair kit off Amazon. Would love to refurbish watches at some point but that feels a long way off yet.

Nice Invicta. Blue of that dial looks lush 馃憣

Thanks. This is a real fun one to wear! My plan for now is to get different straps for my watches. Also I learned that the diameter of the spring bar needed makes a difference!
