Which one should be next on the purchase list? All are automatic. The Mathey-Tissot watches are STP caliber movements and sizes are 42mm. The orient star is their in house movement and is 38-39mm. I have about a 7-8in wrist.
If forced to choose for myself, the Orient Star would get the axe due to the Roman numerals.
Of the Mathey-Tissot options, it's about six of one/half dozen of the other. Some days I'd want the clean look of the 2nd, and other days I'd want the bling of the fluted bezel & jubilee bracelet.
But I think the clean look wins out by the tiniest of margins.
Own the white dial version of that Orient Star. It is an excellent watch. Has been likened by a watch guy I know to grand seiko. Currently trying hard not to get the black dial version, just because. Your post is pushing me in that direction LOL. I'm not a roman numerals guy either, but with this watch it doesn't matter to me for whatever reason. If you're using Jomashop my recommendation would be order it and if you don't like it send it back.

Do you find it small? I have a wrist size between 7 1/2 to 8 inches by the wrist bone. My only concern with the orient is that it might be too small

Not sure what your budget is for this, but you might want to take a look at the Frederique Constant FC-303NB6B6B.

I like that one too and have looked at it as I want to add that brand to my collection. Only thing to get it on Jomashop they are out of stock
The Orient Star looks pretty good to me. But I'm not a big Tissot fan.

Just FYI, Tissot & Mathey-Tissot are different brands.
I'm a fan of Mathey-Tissot, so they get my vote.
Im partial to Orient, but the tissot with the charcoal(?) dial is outstanding! That gets my vote
All three definitely have their positives.

Orient Star
An Orient Star (either this or the Heritage Gothic) is on my shortlist, so it gets my vote.

No it wears bigger than 38 for sure
Out of these three, definitely go with the Orient Star. Much more cohesive design and I like the power reserve as well.
