Is there such a thing as a quality spring bar?

I'd really like to order one of those a spring bar kits and not throw it away in a month when I discover they were crap.  Does anyone have a brand they recommend?

Don't know.... Great question! I'd really like to know

Yes there are different thickness spring bars, heavy duty, regular curved etc. Note that heavy watches will benefit from the security good quality heavy duty spring bars offer.

Absolutely. Material used, spring tension, build quality, etc all factor in. You can tell the difference between a good one and cheap one when swapping them. Also, nato straps love to turn cheap ones into projectiles.

Everest and W&W each make quality spring bars that won’t break the bank.

Yes, the best springbars are Swiss made, you can either buy them from ofrei or EverestBands sell them as well. They are the ones you want to trust.

I was always happy with the genuine Omega spring bars.

I never thought about it, but when I finally bought a Submariner, I bought genuine Rolex spring bars to have on hand and use for NATO's, etc. So yes they make a big difference.
