I never really thought of strap-swapping until I joined this motley crew of watch-nerds.
Well, fine. I give in.
I love my chunky Navihawk (as seen above) which I picked up this past December. I am particularly fond of the gun-metal colour. Not black, not silver, rugged and versatile.
But - in the back of my mind (and all over this forum) are images of folks who have reignited their passion toward a particular timepiece by simply changing it up.
So, I went to Ali Express and picked up a couple of the Samco silicone straps for the eye-wateringly expensive price of C$7 each.
While I cannot speak to any long-term durability yet, I can say that it seems like a quality piece, with quick-release built-in, and they have a ton of colour and buckle options.
Also, C$7 shipped.
I think the watch has a different vibe now. Sportier perhaps? Certainly lighter!
What do you think?

Looks good
That strap pairing looks sick! Well done!
I prefer straps to bracelets.
Chronographs almost always look better on a strap/leather band. Love it!
Looks great! I like the new strap. Changing straps gives a different look and vibe. I'm a strap freak lol
Enjoy the new look!
Cheers!

I got a little lucky. There are three different greens to choose from.
I'm the odd man out...I liked it more on the bracelet.

I get that... It's got a bit more presence.
Looks good. Welcome to the peripheral hobby of strap collecting.
