Orient Panda

Orient is by far is my favorite watch brand. I own five and the fit and comfort is much better than my Seiko, Timex and Ball watches. I own or have owned multiple models of each and nothing fits on my wrist better than Orient watches. Omega is comfortable but out of my price range at the moment. I love the look of the dials Orient has and always lean to buying them over others.

This neo Panda is from the Japan Direct Market (JDM) catalog and one of my favorites. I just saw the new sports model and I want it. It's from the JDM catalog as well. Is there justification for owning two Panda dials? I'm inclined to sell this one to own the newer sports model. Just wanted to share my thoughts on my Orient and get some opinions with the fine watch folks here on Watch Crunch.

I agree Orient are my favourite affordable brand. I only have divers so far...Ray 2, Mako 2 and Kamasu. I'm quite excited about their new 40mm divers which includes a sort of diver/ chrono hybrid I believe. Since I only have quartz chronograph I might go for one of these.

I know the JDM has loads of interesting Orients. Your panda looks fantastic!

Thank You, I have the Mako2 and 3, as well as the Kamasu. I absolutely love them. The sports chronograph is on my list, it's solar powered and has the Arabic 12. The hour, minute and seconds hands are more legible on the newer version.
