Duxot Strap Change

I got a Duxot watch that frankly is bigger than I like. The lug-to-lug is 54mm with bracelet and 52mm measuring with this black strap I just purchased. I got the watch in February and only wore it maybe three times. I don't like huge watches. The thickness is OK at 13mm but I couldn't get over the gaudy vibe of the watch on my wrist. Well I was watching one of my favorite reviewers The Urban Gentry and he, like me, does not like to go over mid 40s mm to often. He buys straps (NATOs mostly) to get a smaller wear from big watches. Ok, admittedly I'm not the brightest bulb in the pack, it took 5 and half months for this concept to catch but it did and I shopped for a strap and got a black horween with gold buckle for this piece. WOW, I love my watch now. The strap made all the difference. What do all you awesome watch folks think? Did it improve the wear and make it look smaller?

I think it looks better on the leather too, though I don’t think it looks bad on its bracelet. Nice watch.
