Your post is going to get me into trouble, cause I absolutely love the look of that watch. I believe some of the best watches are ones made with Arabic numerals. I'm conditioned by hours of watching the school clocks tick and ring us out at the end of the day. Those clocks all had 1 through 12 and I just need some numerals on my watch.

Thank You, I have the Mako2 and 3, as well as the Kamasu. I absolutely love them. The sports chronograph is on my list, it's solar powered and has the Arabic 12. The hour, minute and seconds hands are more legible on the newer version.
Islander watches are great. I'm thinking about pressing the button on the DPA series blue and orange one. Islander watches are great value for money watches and Marc's price increases are moderate compared with the inflation rate this year. Seiko went way to high for no change in quality or upgrades. I do love my Alpinist though.
